He ventured into the air cargo agency where he began his illustrious career. After some 5 years working for one of the better known air cargo companies in Singapore, he started his own company with the support and encouragement from his customers and some very close friends, and thereafter, he never looked back. Active with his support and passion for the industry he agreed to become a Council Member of SAAA in 1973. He was their chairman from 1987 to 1988 and again from 1997 to 2002. Today he is still a council member and also the longest serving council member.
Mr Koh and a few members of SAAA, had been instrumental in the formation of the Federation of Asia-Pacific Air cargo Association (FAPAA) in 1985. This organization is unique because it consist only of aircargo associations as members. He has been the Chairman of FAPAA twice, the first being in 1990.
